HBA Registration Page

HBA Day at a Columbus Clippers game

Returning this year is the HBA Day at a Columbus Clippers game.  It will be during the May 21st game and there will be an onfield parade for the HBA players prior to the game. 

Tickets are $6 each and can be purchased online.

Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet

Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet is teaming up with Chevrolet and the Chevy Youth Baseball and Softball Program to provide a sponsorship check, equipment package, free instructional clinic, and a fundraising opportunity to Hilliard Baseball Association.  

In 2023, the Chevy Youth Baseball and Softball Test Drive Fundraising Opportunity is a program by which Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet will provide $20 on behalf of every customer that visits our dealership and takes a test drive in any one of the new Chevrolet vehicles in stock, up to a maximum of $500.

Whether or not you are in the market for a new vehicle, stop by the dealership and mention you are looking to take a test drive to support Hilliard Baseball Association through the Chevy Youth Baseball and Softball program.

The Chevy Youth Baseball and Softball Test Drive Fundraising Opportunity officially ends on June 30, 2023, or whenever the supplies are exhausted.

Darby Panther Summer Baseball Camp 2023

Darby baseball will be conducting their 2023 summer camp from June 12th through the 14th.  It will be at the Bo Jackson Elite Sports.

2023 registration remains open for Pony, Buddy Ball, and coaches

Coach Registration is currently open for the Spring 2023 season for ages 3 and up is open.  This includes Buddy Ball and Pony. 

Player registration is only open for Pony and Buddy Ball.  The 9/10 division has a waitlist open.  All other programs for the spring are SOLD OUT.

  • Ages 3 through 12 will begin practice in April and games will be in May and June.  Games and the Postseason tournaments will conclude by June 25. 
  • Pony is expected start practices in mid-May and begin games on June 1.  Pony will involve 3 to 4 games per week with doubleheaders scheduled on Saturdays.  Games will end by July 6th at the latest and the postseason tournament will be from July 9 to 16.
  • Fees for all programs ages 5 and up are $110 per player.
  • Fees for the 3/4 year old program are $50 per player.
  • Buddy Ball is a no cost program

  • Concussion training certificates dated from 2022 are valid for 2023.
  • Abuse Training is an annual training requirement.  The links to those two courses are below:

Hilliard Baseball Association

HBA has been an active member of our community for more than 50 years providing recreation, fun, teamwork, and great memories for Hilliard's kids since the 1960s.  It is our goal to provide a fun, safe, and instructional environment and provide an opportunity for any child to play baseball.

Interested in being an Umpire for HBA?

Umpire registration for the 2023 spring baseball season will open on January 1, 2023. Please visit the website www.reftown.com and look for the HBA icon.

To participate in the Hilliard Baseball Association umpiring program, you must be at least 12 years of age.  To be a plate umpire, one must be at least 16 years of age and have at least two years prior base umpire experience.  Umpires are required to be a student within the Hilliard City School District.  Should you have any questions or need assistance with the registration process, please contact us.

Coach Registration Trainings

To ensure the safety of our players and coaches, anyone who is registering to be a coach will need to complete two online courses prior to completing registration.  The courses are linked in the registration form but can be found here as well.
